Post-Race Page:
On behalf of New Leaf Adventures, race sponsors,
and volunteers we want to say thank you to all the
participants of the Cohutta 100, Big Frog 65 mile and
the Epic 35 mile mountain bike race. It was fun to hear
all the stories about what brought you to this race and
where you came from. We had a very deep field in the
100 mile which made for an exciting finish. We had
several up and coming young riders participate in the
35 mile this year too. Our youngest rider in the event
was 11 years old.
One of our goals is to get as many local area bike
shops involved in the race. We appreciate the
support from Scott's Bikes, Cleveland Tn, Cycle
South of Blue Ridge, Blairsville bikes and boards,
Blairsville Ga. and Spin Lite bike shop from
Hiawassee Ga. We also want to thank all the riders
who supported the event from Cartecay Bike Shop in
Ellijay Ga. Their dedication to the sport is amazing.
In addition to the bike shop support we also had
several area churches participate in the event. A
special thank you to Harbor Ministries and to River
Fellowship for their guidance on and off the course.
Also, thank you to the Lyons club of Blue Ridge and
last but not least my friends and family who always
come to the rescue just at the right time.
If you have lost/forgotten items and want them
returned you will need to send enough money to
cover their return. We will be posting results as soon
as possible. We wish all of you a very successful and
blessed 2008 race season. See you next year at the
Cohutta 100.

If you'd like to come back to this beautiful part of the
world and ride, we offer training camps and tours.
These are complete with sag, gourmet meals,
massage and lodging.
